Why Little River was created
リトルリバーは、「誰もが面白くて楽しく、快適に英語を学べるスペース」を提供するため、ブルック・グレコにより設立されました。
リトルリバーがまだこぢんまりとした学校だった頃から、大きな英会話学校と比べても、より生徒1人1人のニーズに応えてきました。英会話学校の5年以上の経験と、TESOL（英語教授法の資格）、学士資格を取得した経験もあって、私は外国語習得の難しさをよく理解しています。その経験を活かして、お子様や小中高校生、大学生、社会人、お父さんお母さん、先生まで、生徒1人1人にベストな学習法を計画していきます。みなさまにとって良い先生、良い学校になれるよう柔軟に対応し、目標に向かって寄り添っていきたいと考えています。
Little River was founded by Brooke Graco, whose sole purpose is to create a space for everyone to comfortably learn English in a fun and engaging way.
Since Little River is a small and intimate school, we are able to cater to each individual student needs better than a bigger company can. With 5 years of prior Eikaiwa experience, a TESOL degree, and obtaining a Bachelor of Languages, Brooke knows the hardships of learning a foreign language.
With her experience, she plans to guide others with the best learning methods for each student; whether they be a child, teenager, university student, company worker, stay at home mom/dad, or even a teacher themselves.
Being flexible is a part of being a great teacher, and also being a great school! Little River wants to bring together the goals of customers and the company alike. Together, we can create the perfect lesson structure for every student’s needs.

Brooke Graco
ブルック・グレコは1991年、オーストラリアのスワンヒルで生まれました。オーストラリア内を24回も引っ越し、いろんな環境の中でで育ったため、卓越したコミュニケーションスキルを身につけることができました。日本の陶芸や文化が好きだった父に育てられたこともあり、すぐに日本の文化が大好きになりました。ジェームス・クック大学で5年半勉強し、日本語の学士を取得。大学在学中、1年半、北海道の函館に留学することができました。そのことがきっかけで英語を教えることが好きになり、日本での英語講師の仕事を見つけようと決心しました。彼女は縁あって福井に来ることになり、有名キッズ英会話学校で働くことになりました。5年間のキャリアの中で、6つの学校のエリアリーダーにまで昇進することができ、TESOLという英語教授法の資格も取得することができました。彼女の講師としての経験や努力により、あらゆる世代の生徒に第2・第3外国語を教える広い視野を持つことができました。
Brooke Graco was born on April 17th, 1991 in Swan Hill, Australia. She moved over 24 times and grew up all around Australia, thus creating great social skills. Growing up with a father who took an interest in Japanese pottery and culture, Brooke soon grew to love all that is Japan. She studied at James Cook University for 5 and a half years, completing a Bachelor of Languages in Japanese. During her university degree, she was able to study abroad in Hakodate, Japan for 1 year. It is here she fell in love with teaching English and decided that once her degree was obtained, she would find a job as a teacher in Japan.
Brooke was fortunate enough to land a job in Fukui, at a well-known children’s English conversation school. It was here she perfected her art of teaching for 5 years; even becoming an area leader for foreign teachers at over 6 schools. Whilst working full-time, she obtained her TESOL degree (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). Her experience as a teacher, as well as her studies, have made her gain insight on how students of all ages learn a second, or even a third, language.
